The New Monitor Audio BR2 bookshelf speakers have improved on a platform that can only be described as class leading; the original Monitor Audio B2s, were formidable. The New Monitor Audio BR2s have an improved tweeter which gives a definate realism to top end frequencies. The construction of the original B2's was good but the new BR2s really are at the next level being both solid and neatly finished. So now you get all the ability of the orginal B2's but with an improved soundstage and great finish to match.

As we predicted, the Monitor Audio BR2s have been extremely well recieved! The BR2 has been proudly installed as What HIFI's product of the year (Speakers £150-£350). The respected magazine praised the new Monitor Audio champions justifying the award with comments like "Detail resolution is excellent for the money" and "Feed the BR2s one of our failsafe classical testers - Holst's planets suite - and the speakers deliver a wonderfully accomplished listen.
